Our return policy

You can submit a return or exchange within 14 days of receiving your order. The return fee and exchange fee depend on your country and are shown in the table below.

• Use our return portal to submit your return or exchange.
• Need a different size? You can request an exchange through our return portal.
• Items must be clean, unworn and returned with all tags and packaging in good condition.
• For hygiene reasons, underwear can only be returned or exchanged if the seal is still intact.
  
• If a returned item does not meet our return conditions, we may refuse the refund in full or in part.
• We recommend using our return portal. If you choose your own carrier, we are not liable for loss in transit and processing may take longer.
• If you use your own carrier, those return costs will not be reimbursed.
• For returns with multiple items, a €2.00 handling fee applies for each extra item from the second item onward.
• If there is a price difference due to an ongoing promotion, this can be compensated with a voucher.

Returns & exchanges from outside the EU

If you return an item from outside the European Union, except for the UK, you are responsible for any customs duties, taxes or other fees. At ETQ we focus on the things even the eye can’t see, to build better. All shoes are designed in Amsterdam and crafted in Portugal. The family-owned atelier works with traditional methods. Together we are masters of precision engineering.

When it comes to materials, our bar is high. No shortcuts. ETQs premium suedes and leathers are smooth like butter and cherry-picked per shoe. Obsessive, yes. But: soon after wearing ETQ you will notice the quality difference.

Your fresh pair arrives in style. Your shoes come in two all-purpose zip bags made from recycled PET bottles. Use them to store your ETQs, toiletries, pencils, and more. Just like your shoes, these bags are crafted to last.

We've always been fascinated by packaging. We designed it with efficiency and with the environment in mind. The modular packaging consists of long-lasting items created with recycled materials, while the shipping box is repurposed to serve as a shoebox as well.

Confident and comfortable, ETQ introduces the etiquette of artisan shoe crafting to today’s sneaker world. We blend traditional cobbler skills with the latest technology for comfort and suppleness. Your feet feel it, every step of the way.

While traditional sneakers are meant for sports, ETQ footwear is made for the city. That is why we use a solid and heavy cupped sole made from reinforced rubber to last in all conditions. Fit so smooth that you’ll want to keep them on. And you can.
